Lakeview & Wrigleyville Community Info
Home to the Chicago Cubs and Wrigley Field, Lakeview and Wrigleyville is a thriving community located on the north side of Chicago, between West Diversey Parkway and West Irving Park Road, and North Ravenswood Avenue and Lake Michigan. Close shopping, restaurants, and sports related business make for a popular neighborhood. Tucked away from the bustling community, residential areas lined with trees and a variety of home styles, including condominiums and apartments, can be found within a five-minute walk.
Some Wrigleyville properties are low-rise brick buildings, with rooftop bleachers, called Wrigley Rooftops where baseball games can be viewed without at reduced prices. Much of the Bank of America Chicago Marathon takes place in Lakeview, as does a portion of the annual Bike the Drive bicycling event. Many art and fashion events, such as “How Lake View Looks” runway show and art gallery tours are organized for the community.
