Help Beautify Chicago Homes & Neighborhoods

Changing seasons mean beautiful fall colors in Chicago. It can also mean leaves on the ground near your Chicago home. Alderman Waguespack’s 32nd Ward Clean-Up Meet-Up crew is geared up to do some tidying up in Ukrainian Village and you are invited to help! If you live in Ukrainian Village, stop by Damen and Augusta on Saturday, October 29th from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and lend a hand.

The Clean-Up Meet-Up Crew is focusing on street beautification in Ukrainian Village this month and will start at Damen and Augusta and work our way west on Augusta to Oakley, pulling weeds from sidewalks and tree boxes, trimming overgrown areas, and re-painting light poles and bike racks.

Supplies such as scrapers, paint, brushes, rollers, tree trimmers, clippers, garbage bags, and brooms will be provided. We even have gloves you can use, but if you have your own, please bring them. Please email Clean-Up Meet-Up Volunteer Coordinator Christine Jensen at [email protected] or call 773.551.3292 for more information. Hope to see you there!
