Family Fun Near Lincoln Park Homes

Kids and parents who live in Chicago are gearing up for one the most fun annual events of spring. On Saturday, May 7^th, Mayor Daley’s Kids and Kites Festival will be held at Cricket Hill (at Lake Shore Drive and Montrose) in Lincoln Park from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
This colorful, breezy day guarantees a great time for the whole family. Bring your own kite from your Chicago home or choose one of the free paper kites offered at the event, as you run and play in the park. You will be able to see spectacular aerial kite tricks and even attend workshops to learn how to do some yourself! Face painting, kite making and decorating, storytelling, caricature drawing, and balloon artists will be part of the excitement, along with a variety of crafts.
