Get ready for 14 belt-busting days of the finest food and drink Chicago has to offer! Chicago Restaurant Week 2015 returns on January 30 and continues through February 12 with two weeks of dining deals. 

Organized each winter by Choose Chicago, the city’s official tourism organization,Chicago Restaurant Week gives visitors and local foodies an opportunity to enjoy specialty prix fixe menus from more than 250 participating Chicago restaurants. The multi-course dining experience starts at $22 for lunch, and $33 and/or $44 for dinner (excluding beverages, tax and gratuity). 

The 8th Annual Chicago Restaurant Week returns January 30 – February 12, 2015. For fourteen days, enjoy dining deals throughout the city and surrounding suburbs and experience Chicago’s rich, culinary diversity.

Nothing is required for participation in Restaurant Week, but it is strongly recommended that diners make reservations in advance. All participating restaurants should provide you with their special Restaurant Week Menu; if the menu is not provided upon seating, please feel comfortable to request the special menu.

More than 250 restaurants throughout Chicago and nearby suburbs take part in the annual promotion. Chicago Restaurant Week is an exclusive partnership program organized by Choose Chicago that is designed to promote the restaurant industry and drive traffic to participating establishments during a typically slow time of year.

Chicago Restaurant Week 2014 proved to be one of the most successful yet with 301 participating restaurants throughout Chicagoland. The impact of the promotion was more than $20.8 million in direct dining spending in Chicago area restaurants, serving 435,000+ diners over the course of ten days.

To kick things off, get your tickets to First Bites Bash, an exclusive tasting event that previews sweet and savory creations from more than 50 of Chicago’s top chefs and restaurants, taking place January 29 at Union Station. First Bites Bash is the official kick-off event for Chicago Restaurant Week, produced by Choose Chicago. Join us inside the magnificent Great Hall at Chicago Union Station, where you will enjoy savory and sweet tastings from over 50 of Chicago’s most celebrated chefs and restaurants. Restaurateur & master sommelier, Alpana Singh will host this year’s event, from which a portion of the proceeds will benefit Inspiration Corporation.

Restaurateur and master sommelier Alpana Singh served as the host of the Emmy Award-winning television show, Check, Please!  for ten seasons on Chicago’s PBS station. During this time, Singh was nominated for a James Beard Foundation Award, and became the director of wine and spirits for Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises. After more than a decade with the company, Singh opened The Boarding House, a wine-driven concept in the River North neighborhood in December 2012, and will open her newest restaurant Seven Lions in early 2015.
